Cornish Crabber 22

Cerwen 2 is a 1998 Cornish Crabber 22 she has been lovingly cared for during my ownership and was extensively overhauled by Firmhelm and Harbour Marine at Pwllheli, North Wales from 2019 then not relaunched until 2022.
The refurbishment included:
• Beta Marine 16hp 2 cylinder diesel engine (commissioned 2022)
• Seaview Progress PSS shaft seal
• Victron IP22 Blue/Smart battery charger
• Erberspacher diesel heater with 7d timer
• new C&J Sprayhood
• Topsides and hull polished
• Raymarine e7 Hybridtouch chartplotter with AIS transceiver and Navionics Platinum Plus charts
• Raymarine i40 sounder and speed log, i60 wind instrument
• new fuse board with push re-set circuit breakers and master switches
• Fuel tank overhauled with fuel gauge and Parker Racon Fuel Filter/Water Separator installed
• Standing rigging replaced
• All spars refurbished and 2pack varnished
• Automatic bilge pump installed

Cerwen 2’s as built specification includes a Jabsco sea toilet, Raymarine 54 DSC VHF radio, AM/FM stereo, navigation lights, manual bilge pump, Semi flex 18V/5A solar panel controlled by EP Solar duel battery charge controller/battery regulator, Sunnto steering compass, Raymarine ST1000 tiller pilot, and tiller tamer, CQR type anchor, bimini, boarding ladder and a full set of cockpit cushions, ropes and fenders.

All sails and running rigging have been maintained and are in good condition. Cerwen 2 has been sailed by myself every year and antifouled annually. Her high level of additional equipment means she is easily capable of coastal cruising and cross channel passages. She is laid up for winter maintenance and available for inspection in Porthmadog, North Wales.
